Doctor
Béranger is a famous psychoanalyst who succeeds in everything. His life would
be perfect if it weren't for this very anxious and extremely clingy patient:
Damien Leroy. To finally get rid of it, he makes her believe that the only way
to heal is to find true love. But as he prepares to celebrate his 30th wedding
anniversary, his daughter, played by Claire Chust, tells him that she has
finally found the man of her life who is none other than... Damien. The party
will turn into a nightmare.
For the film
Jamais sans mon Psy by Arnaud Lemort, I was inspired by the comedies of my
childhood. These orchestral scores that marked my youth and continue to amuse
me today. I tried to create a funny, light music, with a love theme as a
starting point, but which quickly becomes tinged with mischief and mischief.
The orchestra therefore occupies a central place, very often tuning the
melodies to the woodwinds. I have often associated the contrabassoon with the
doctor, for example, its color offers a perfect irony to this cunning and
inventive father-in-law in his various stratagems against his son-in-law. To
respond to the modernity of the film, I also integrated guitars, percussions
and keyboards adding a solar and current energy to this soundtrack.
