CORSAIRE Atmosphere Adventure By Maximilien Mathevon Label Plaza Mayor Company Ltd CORSAIRE There are places that touch you with their atmosphere, their architecture, the history they evoke. For me, one of these places is the city of Saint-Malo. It was quite natural that I came to create an album inspired by the corsair city, mixing electronic music and traditional influences. The sounds of bodhran, bombarde and uillean pipes mingle with the medieval sounds of violas da gamba, orchestral colors and synthesizers to create a composite and singular sound universe. A smell, a color, a look, a distance... so many images and sensations that collide in the conscious and the unconscious.
