Zeugma: improvisations spontané is a collaborative improvisation project between Michalis Andronikou, playing the bouzouki, a Greek plucked lute, and Rod Thomas Squance on the marimba, a grand Central American xylophone. The album is the fruit of two days recording sessions of spontaneous, unplanned duo improvisations. The result is a beautiful collection of pieces for listening. Zeugma is a spontaneous project, originating from the desire for musical communication between the two performers, as well as with a wider audience, through collaborative improvisations.
