Bassstronautz: An
intense space trip in the universe of music that involves together three great
Italian bass players: Tony Corizia, Roberto Pascucci and Giuseppe Fiori.
As it already was for the three great Tenors this time the protagonists of this
new adventure are instead 3 of the best known Italian bass players.
This is the first time in the history of music where three great electric bass
virtuosos join forces in a common project.
A
12-track album that offers unique emotions through original melodic research,
visionary arrangements, spatial sounds, where everything revolves around the
electric bass, which is celebrated here at the highest levels and in all its
possible declinations.
10 unreleased tracks and 2 famous cover versions.

tribute to “Space:1999”, the iconic TV series of the 70s: a new revisited
version, with a fresh house/new disco flavor, in collaboration with Andrea
Schianini aka DJ Thor, a very known italian DJ, who is also the
co-producer of the album and the beatmaker of the project.
“On the road Again”, here reworked together with Fabrice Pascal
Quagliotti, keyboardist and leader of the French iconic band The Rockets and
enriched by the harp of Hermanito, first call hired gun for such artists like
BB King and Tina Turner.
Noteworthy is also the song “Play the Bass”, with the famous Italian actor Neri
Marcorè who recites here some of the most well-known lines related to the bass
world.
The rest of “We Are Basstronautz” can be deemed as the soundtrack of a movie,
carefully crafted in detail by the three bassists with the precious
collaboration of keyboardist and sound engineer Andrea Messieri, whose ultimate
goal consists in exploring the great Universe of Music.
